NAVO is an adventure tour operator basing in Chengdu, China. We are the most established adventure tour operator to date, with many years of adventure experiences in China since 1993 including trekking, overland 4x4C self-drivingCmountaineering and scientific expedition in western China covering Tibet, Sichuan, Kham and Amdo, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Shangdong, Anhui, Hunan, etc. sightseeing, religion, ethnic, cultural and historical tours as well throughout China.
For 12 years, we have organized different kinds of tours such as trekking tours, mountain-climbing, Overland Tours, 4X4 self-driving tours, photographing tours, hunting tours, bicycle-riding tours , Wushu (martial art) tours and others. Our steps have covered vast areas of China including Sichuan Province, Qinghai Province, Tibet Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, Yunnan Province, Gansu Province etc., from which we have accumulated a wealth of experience and developed our unique and competitive tourist products.
Over years, We have organized and implemented trekking tours to the Eastern Tibet, Animaqen in Qinghai, Kailash region in Tibet, Xishuangbanna in Yunnan, the southwest of Guizhou Province, Namche Barwa; the overland tours along Sichuan-Tibet road, Yunnan-Tibet road,Qinghai-Tibet road and around-the-Taklamakan Desert tour. And we also formed tour groups to climb Xixiabangma in Tibet, K2, Gonggar and Siguniang Mountain in Sichuan. We pioneered for the first time in China the selfNdriving tours of 4WD to cross the route of China(Shanghai),Munich, China-Mongolia, China-Vietnam and the Silk Road and such activities were held continuously for 10 years. And the Mountainbike tours held along Qinghai-Tibet road and on Hainan Island, in Guilin and Xishuangbanna have been accepted and appreciated by more and more tourists.
We're also one of the biggest travel agency to organize the overland tour in China, especially organized the trip in west China.
We definitely are the most experienced agency in China, organizing the tour in Kham, Gyarong and Amdo Tibetan area.
We also organized self-drive tour in China since 1994. The customers drove their own vehicles to travel in China. The customers came from Europe such as: German, Switzerland(Swiss), France, Austria, England, Italy, Holland, etc....
And also, we've organized the people to learn Chinese Martial Art in Mt.Emeishan, in Mt.Wudangshan and Shaolin Temple since 1998.
We've organized the photography tour since 2000, most of the clients are from France and Taiwan province.
We've organized the bird-watching tour in Sichuan, Qinghai and Tibet since 2003.
Mountain-climbing is organized by NAVO as well. We've experienced in climbing Mt. Minya Konga, which is called the holiest mountain to east Tibet. And Mt.Siguning, which is called "the Alps in Oriental", 6 of our French clients climbed on the top in 1999.
As rule of NAVO, In 2005, only 3 new circuits were introduced by NAVO, but 9 new circuits will be introduced in 2006.
